I just finished an unprecedented, unparalleled, tear jerking, mind expanding recording session for Annie Bacon’s brainchild, The Folk Opera.  Behind the turrets of an old army tower in the mission, she and her partner hosted us for what felt like a 3-day retreat into folk heaven.  Alongside a very talented, very entertaining, very attractive cast of characters, I had the honor of singing harmonies with the “Townsfolk Choir” on the project’s first official recording session. 
In a few months, she will be releasing the recordings on 12” vinyl, in addition to download cards and pre-ordered puppet packages for listeners’ toy-theater enjoyment.  I feel lucky to have played a small role in this big project.  Keep an eye out for the official release in the fall!  You can read a great article about the project here:
